October 11, 2022 was the perfect day for a styled shoot. Seas Your Day Events’ Coordinator Morgan chose a Modern Disco theme! “I think everyone had a great time! Everything moved so smoothly through the day! The space was absolutely beautiful and playing with such rich colors against the dark green looked amazing!”
The Venue
The Carriage House at Vedder Farms is straight out of a picture book. This beautiful venue located in Leesburg overlooking a hill is the perfect setting for up to 200 of your close families and friends. There are two options for beautiful ceremony settings - a picturesque gazebo and a stunning white aisle overlooking a beautiful hill of green. The paved aisle is begging to be walked! And the sunsets, oh, the sunsets are incredible! The carriage house has a huge porch with fans and rocking chairs. Inside, chandeliers decorate the ceilings with concrete floors and white walls. There is a built-in bar, and a huge kitchen for catering prep (your vendors will thank you for these things!)
The Dresses
The gown was a gorgeous sheer, floral dress with just the right amount of train. Sheer capped sleeves made this sweet look come together.
The short reception dress was a puff sleeved, polka dotted, pearl embroidered piece of perfection!
Florals:
Did you know that in another life (and potentially in her future life, it’s not totally out of the question) Coordinator Morgan would and could be a floral designer? She designed these floral pieces out of, believe it or not, faux flowers!
HOT TIP: If you’re going DIY on your florals, start as early as possible, after all, they don’t need to be watered or cared for. Why not start early and get it done early?
We asked Morgan what her favorite part of the shoot was and she said: “THE DISCO BALLS! Also I loved the short wedding dress <3”
The Table
Morgan chose a simple white set of plates and a white bone handle for the silverware. She brought it all together with an amber goblet that matched the linen and florals. They also matched the specialty disco themed cookies!
